The developer has not uploaded a game yet...

Whoops, accidentally deleted the browser version of the game! Sorry about that!
You can still play the game by downloading the installer (which honestly works better).

Controls:

Left Arrow Key - Left

Right Arrow Key - Right

Up Arrow Key - Jump

Down Arrow Key - Duck (AIR OK!)

R - Restart Level

Game Mechanic:

Each level you start with x amount of cards and a hand limit.

If you die, you carry whatever cards with you + the starting card hand, as long as you have enough space in your hand.

For the first level, try running off to the left in the spike pit 3 times!

You take control of Puff, the little ball of fluff, on a journey through this puzzle platformer. You can run, jump, and duck, but only if you have the associated cards to let you.

Each level comes with only so many cards of certain types, and with a hand limit it can make reaching the goal impossible at times. Thankfully, when Puff dies, he can carry over the cards from Puff's previous life.

Strategically die and disintegrate Puff to conjure the perfect combo of cards to complete the level.

Don't worry, Puff doesn't actually die. Puff can come back alive whenever Puff pleases, all thanks to the blessings of the goddesses of the North, East, West, and South.
Technically, Puff can be considered a demi-deity.
Bow down to Puff.

Whatsup? Nice game! Very unique ideas, i really love it! Here's a feedback of various things i noticed, hopefully some of it will be helpful for you guys. Cheers!

  • - Just one small thing about the menu:  when i first entered it, i took some good seconds trying to see what option was selected. The green color of the selection is way too close to black, try changing it to white or a lighter color to give some contrast. For some people eyes and monitors it might be almost impossible to see.

  • - In the first stage, i got really confused because i hadn't read this post completely, i really though the character was glitched because some times i could move it and other not. Some time later i noticed that the cards had some writing on them and a number. Having this in mind, I really think there should be a tutorial and a better sinalization when the player use the cards and when they get them. It will get players into the game faster!

  • - Now, the most important point. PUFF has limited movement, so the player must get alike with his surrondings and avaliate what cards he need, how much, and when is the right time to use them, right?

In the first and second stage i had to take some tries until i had the "A-ha!" moment , but in the third one, the game complete change directions and i no longer had to think, i just had to jump, it was pretty much just a plataformer but with no challenges at all, just a few jumps and that was it. And all of the suddenly, the game changes back to be puzzle, and after like 2 small stages like this, it switches back to plataformer-like where you just have to walk and jump, but in a hellish figure of a maze of torment. Guys, i really loved the game but i hate this stage SO MUCH.  I will talk about it later.

But the thing is: in the first world it seems the stages are conflicting drastically between genres of simple run'n'jump plataformer and puzzle where you have to think about every movement. HOWEVER in the third world (the purple one ) is very good!  There's no longer a drastic change between gameplay styles, you have to perform your way through the platformers but still thinking about the cards to not get stuck. It is very fun, and i think that the game shoud have more stages in this formula.

  • - Talking about the hellish maze of torment stage of the second world. It would be a cool stage but the narrow spaces make the movimentation  very glitch, puff will be stuck at corners with no effort, and frenquetly you have to jump, crouch and move to a horizontal direction to be able to go foward, so you are constantly pressing 3 directional buttons at the same time, wich is not very comfortable. It's a hard stage but for the wrong motivation. Unfortunately for my mental health, i had to play this stage countless times.

  • - In the further stages of the third world (the purple one) wich are required more dexterity, i think there should be more spikes, because when you miss a jump and fall, many times you end up consuming to much time to notice you can't go back and pressing the reset button all time is boring.

Well i think that's all! I tried to write the review in some chronological way, talking about menu, to the first world until the end of the game, but i screwed up because i was playing and writing so ended up distracted on the game or noticing something just later. But i played the game entirely 2 times and now i'm trying to get all the golden cards( wich by the way, give a extra replay factor to the game, this is being very amusing ).

Anyways, I hope you guys are doing well, and that you keep doing this good job! this game is very good and i hope to see more of your content in the future. Hope this helps for your growth, sorry if something i said wasn't clear because of my writing. Congratulations for the game and God bless you all, cheers!
